Austin motors through photographs at Wyre Mark

A picture is worth a thousand words, so the old saying goes, and if visitors to the Mark website ever wondered where all the super photographs which arrive on the webmaster’s desk for posting come from here’s a titillating snippet.
Austin photographs the crowd shot
There is an intrepid bunch of Mark Masons, some publicity officers, others enthusiastic amateurs acting as paparazzi at our lodge meetings and other events who record the ‘derring does’ of the rest of us.

share a joke with Austin
Generally these reporters are shy and retiring types (well, mostly) who, though they rarely appear in glorious Technicolor themselves on the website, they appear as if by magic from the background and snap away - recording the deeds they witness for posterity.
Is this an advert for the RAMs?
One such publicity officer is Austin Fletcher and he was in action recently at Wyre Mark Lodge No 754 at that lodge’s installation.
It’s all concentration
Not only was that a milestone on the lodge’s calendar but to make the occasion even more spectacular the Provincial Grand Master Keith Beardmore, accompanied by a glittering array of acting Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, decided to pay Wyre Mark Lodge a visit with the Provincial team.

An occasion not for the faint hearted...

The full report on what happened appears elsewhere on the website but for the delectation of visitors to the website here are a few candid pictures of the undaunted Austin in action - who has no idea he is on camera
